Enhancing the operational performance of the Procurement function of a major group’s subsidiary

Over a four-week period, Actalian conducted an in-depth operational assessment of the Procurement function, combining data analysis, interviews, and on-site observations. The study focused on three dimensions: organization (mapping, productivity analysis, capability assessment), processes (identification of key processes, tools used, and operational pain points), and performance (supplier base analysis — contract coverage, ABC analysis — as well as lead-time and variance assessment). During the following two weeks, Actalian worked with internal teams to prioritize improvement levers based on feasibility and impact, and to build a structured implementation roadmap.

Optimizing production flows for a cable manufacturer

Actalian supported a major cable manufacturer in optimizing the flows of its French production site. Over eight weeks, the design of a new flow architecture — carried out in close collaboration with shop-floor teams — enabled a 20–30% reduction in inventory levels and a significant improvement in operational flow.

Rethinking distribution channels for a theme park

For a major theme park in France, Actalian led an eight-week project to analyze and optimize distribution channels. The mission consisted of a precise and rigorous review of each sales channel — individual and group sales — to assess their efficiency and profitability, and to formulate targeted recommendations. The project team worked closely with the park’s teams to define a prioritized action plan, now in the implementation phase.

Restoring performance for a leading steel manufacturer in France

Actalian is assisting a French leader in special steels through a large-scale transformation program, structured around several workstreams dedicated to flow optimization, supply chain improvement, and lean management deployment. Our team contributes across all these areas and coordinates the program through a central PMO. The objectives are ambitious: a 50% reduction in inventory and production lead times, along with significant productivity gains.
